नौका मेरी भटके जब भी
माँ, तुम ही मेरा किनारा हो,
अंधेरा मुझे घेरे जब भी
राह दिखाता तुम वो उजियारा हो;
नींद ना आए मुझको जब भी
सुलाता तुम वो आसमाँ सारा हो,
थककर हारुँ मैं जब भी
मुझको चलातीं तुम वो धारा हो।

नौका मेरी भटके जब भी
माँ, तुम ही मेरा किनारा हो,
माँ, तुम ही मेरा किनारा हो।

Today’s Prompt: Find a shortish poem that you like, and rewrite each line, replacing each word (or as many words as you can) with words that mean the opposite.
So, here’s my poem that possesses the same meaning of the poem as that of original poem but the words replaced have opposite meanings. For this I rewrite the Poem “Life’s Own Battle” by Emma Jackson. You can read it here.

What my eyes see above
A blue ocean lost in fog,
And floating clouds on it
Tired, slowly-slowly jog;

Blue the wind rushes
Blue the roses jingle,
And blue the swallows over my head
pass and mingle;

What my eyes see above
A blue ocean lost in fog,
And below beside me
sits a blue frog;

Blue the grass
Blue my shoes,
And then remember I
put off my goggles blue.

Whose outmost is always success
Working hands those never rest,
“An idle mind is the devil’s workshop”
which fails in every test;
After sundown,those who rise
Opportunities fade and they only weep
And its always correct that is said-
“As you sow so shall you reap”

A cactus is watered when
Neither from it, flowers are born,
nor any fruits arise from it
Only it grows with its thorns;
Labour turns stones into gold
but sloth changes it into straw’s heap
As its always correct that is said-
“As you sow so shall you reap”

Wakeful minds never give up
Defeats give up on their only way,
Stronger is their bond of Hope
That success is a little far away;
Sweeter we tasted,honey of busy bees,but
Can monkey’s mother ever be a sheep?
So, its always correct that is said-

Thy pals goes without thee
and thou insist on living here
Sayin’ thou hath fallen in love
with the jail’s air
Thirty years passed by
and thou art still in the jail
comes thine kith and kin
daily tries thy release on bail

The Jailer asks everyday
while his face does grin
Did thou,
a jailed hark thine kin?

Crushed under circumstances
Thou lived a hard life,I know
A simple-honest person in thee
and those times, already I saw
When one tried to hire thy job
inspite of money, thou accepted jail
comes thine kith and kin
daily tries thy release on bail

The Jailer asks everyday
while his face does grin
Did thou,
a jailed hark thine kin?

In my garden,I buried thee deep inside,
After years of Rains and years of sunlight
There thou proudly rise;
Sitting on thine branches
I ate up all thy fruits,
Sitting under thee
I had seen thine growing shoots;
In my worried working days
Thou replenish me with elation,
Thou art not a tree, I say
but a growing inspiration.
